Introduction:

❖ Humanities Source was ideal for Students, Researchers and Educators interested in all aspects of the humanities. This includes studies in art, history, communication, culture, literature and philosophy.

❖ Humanities International Index is a comprehensive database covering journals, books and other important reference sources in the humanities.

❖ Formerly the American Humanities Index, this database contains bibliographic records from a multitude of U.S. and international journals, books and reference works.

❖ Humanities International Index provides citations and abstracts for articles, essays and reviews, as well as original creative works including poems, fiction, photographs, painting and illustrations.

❖ This database provides cover-cover indexing and abstracts for journals, books and other important reference sources in the humanities from around the world.

❖ Regular monthly updates ensure subscribers can retrieve the latest material on wide range of arts and humanities subjects, aided by a completely interactive thesaurus and the capability to link to electronic full text of many journal articles.

It is online available and only accessible to registered users. Published by EBSCO. EBSCO is a leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds. For more than 70 years, this have improved research with quality content and technology.

2. Scope: Indexing and abstracts for more than 2,600 journals. Nearly 2,200 active indexed journals are included in it. There are nearly more than 4.3 million records.
